What's Welcome

Why this matters

Simple invitations help the space stay calm and easy to join

Our Invitations

Speak from direct experience

Share what you notice now.

Example: “I’m feeling a bit scattered.”
“I notice calmness setting in.”
“I’m feeling a sense of gratitude.”

Keep it brief

Short shares help the circle breathe. About a minute or two.

Examples: “I’ll keep it short.”
“One quick share.”

Plain words

Simple, everyday language is welcome. No need to teach or perform.

Pace and pauses

Speak slowly. Leave a breath between speakers.

Listen with full attention

Soften the eyes. Rest your hands. Listen to understand. Let replies wait.

Example: “I’m here to listen.”
“I hear you”
“Thank you for sharing.”

“I” language

Talk about your own experience. Offer ideas only if asked.

Example: “For me, this brings up worry.”

“I’m moved by what you shared.”

Phones low

Silent or airplane mode. No recording.

Example: Phone on silent, face down.

Make room

Notice who has not spoken and leave a little space.

Example: “I’ll pause in case others want to share.”

Share what you notice now.

Example: “I’m feeling a bit scattered.”
“I notice calmness setting in.”
“I’m feeling a sense of gratitude.”

Come as you are. Honesty and gentle reflection are welcome here.
