An Open Door
Looking for Home, Connection & Aligned Living
(Bellevue/Eastside Area)
About Me
I’m someone who lives simply and moves through life with care. I work full-time in nonprofit management, and in my spare time, I practice Taijiquan, cook easy meals, and keep a steady rhythm of meditation and movement.
Day-to-day, I keep things clean, functional, and low-drama. Friends describe me as grounded, easy to live with, and thoughtful about the spaces I share. I’m not about perfection – just kindness, respect, and shared good energy.
What I’m Looking For
I’m open to:
-
A quiet room in a peaceful home
-
A small studio or guest house
-
Month-to-month or long-term (longer is better, but no rush)
-
Ideally furnished ( I live pretty minimally )
-
Private bathroom would be nice, but I’m happy to share if the household vibe is good
-
A place near Bellevue or Eastside, but I’m flexible if the right thing comes up
What I Bring
A peaceful, low-impact lifestyle
Habitat restoration experience – native planting, invasive species removal, and pruning of both fruit-bearing and ornamental trees/shrubs
Internal arts & mindfulness (Taijiquan, meditation, Zen practice)
Light tech help (basic digital tasks, organization, troubleshooting)
Soft humor, good boundaries, and sincere presence
Skills in Nonviolent Communication (NVC), self-therapy, and Authentic Relating
Minimal belongings, zero drama
Rhythm of Living
Early riser, mindful of noise
Respect shared space like it’s my own
Enjoy simple routines: tea, writing, Taiji, cooking
Keep to myself but happy to connect when it feels right
Not the Right Fit If…
The house is chaotic, substance-heavy, or loud
You’re looking for someone super social or part of a party house
You need someone to move in right now (I’m open but not in a rush)

If You’re Reaching Out:
To make sure we’re on the same page, it’s helpful if you include:
A bit about who you are
What kind of space you have (or if you’re just connecting)
Why you feel this might be a fit
Even just a few thoughtful lines go a long way.
