Meeting Flow
Nothing formal. Just a gentle rhythm that holds this space together.
Here’s what usually happens:
We meet at a park
Somewhere with sky, trees, and a bit of quiet.
Sometimes it’s a forest path.
Sometimes a simple circle through a park.
We Begin with a Short Reading
Someone might begin by reading a short piece, something from Zen, Dzogchen, poetry, or a simple note on awareness.
There’s no teaching and no discussion, just a shared moment of silent reflection.
We Walk in Silence for a While
For about twenty minutes, we walk quietly together.
Nothing to do. Only the ground beneath your feet, the breath moving, the steady rhythm.
It’s a gentle break from our usual momentum, a moment to open and let the world reveal itself.
We Let Conversation Happen Naturally
After the quiet walk, the facilitator gives a simple cue to close.
Some people begin to talk.
Others stay in silence.
Both are welcome.
Conversation may drift toward awareness, Zen, nonduality, life, or just the day-to-day.
There’s no right way for it to unfold. The hope is simply to speak from what feels alive in us now; what’s connected to the walk, our senses, or what we’ve been feeling lately.
It might be something stirred by the quiet, a reflection from the reading, or just something you’re noticing in this moment.
This is a space to step out of our usual surface chatter and meet each other with presence and real listening.
In Conversation
When someone is speaking, we give them our full attention – Listening without planning what to say next.
We notice our own reactions, but let them settle.
There’s no need to fix, advise, or agree.
Just listen.
Let their words land.
Each person’s voice adds to the space we share, not as debate or performance, but as presence meeting presence.
Wrapping Up
At the end we pause. The space gets quiet again.
People feel their feet and breath.
Sometimes one word or phrase is offered for how we are now with no reflections. No replies.
We take a final easy breath together,
and carry the quiet with us.
We Part When It Feels Right
Some people linger and talk for a while.
Others slip away in silence.
Both are part of the rhythm.
A Space Without Pressure
You don’t need to prepare or practice anything beforehand.
No experience is needed.
This is simply a space to be, to walk, listen, talk, or stay quiet.
Come as You Are.
Just This is Enough.
We meet without formality, simply to share silence, reflection, and time together in presence.
Nothing to teach.
Nothing to reach.
Only a recognition, together,
of what’s already here.
