Routes and terrain

Routes range from smooth paths to uneven ground. We note surface and grade when known. Step-free and wide options when available, on request.


Example: Paved, firm gravel, or natural soil; short stairs if any.

Pace and pauses

Conversational pace. Slow when needed.

Rest and seating

We pause when it helps. Benches are not guaranteed. Bring what you need to sit or rest.


Example: Camp stool, cushion, brace, or supports.

Bathrooms

Facilities vary by location. If we know what’s there, we list it on the event page.


Example: “Restroom at trailhead” or “No facilities on route.”

Getting there

Clear meeting point with a landmark and map pin. Parking and transit details when available. Ask for directions in your preferred format.


Example: “Meet at the north lot under the big cedar.”

Service animals and aids

Service animals are welcome. Wheelchairs, walkers, poles, strollers, and other mobility aids are welcome. We follow park safety rules for powered devices.


Example: Canes, manual or power chairs, hiking poles; OPDMDs per site policy.

Sensory comfort

Silence is part of the space. Headphones, earplugs, or sunglasses are fine. Step back anytime.


Example: Stand at the edge or take a quiet moment.

Scents

Please avoid strong fragrances. Ask if a scent-reduced gathering would help.
